Ruby Ruby Ruby!

I don't get to see Mike as much as I did before. With the gas prices what they are I can't afford to go up there every night. Between our work schedules it makes it a little more difficult.

Plus you have the winter weather right now. Once the nicer warm spring/summer weather hits I will be able to possible see him more than once or twice a week.

One an average I see him from Friday night through Sunday evening.

But we talk every night on the phone. Which is where my blog comes in.

Mike was telling me about this one band he really liked and how he downloaded a song from them online. he was just telling me so nonchalant like. I was only half listening to him (Sorry Mike) when suddenly all he said was Ruby Ruby Ruby Ruby!

It struck me funny as I started to laugh and the more I thought about how he said it I laughed even harder. Which in turn made Mike laugh. I tried, in between laughs, to get out "What the hell was that about?" As Mike tells me that is the only part of the song he can remember.

At the thought of this I bursted out laughing hysterically. Which made Mike laugh again, making me laugh even harder.

Now that wasn't the only thing that got us going.

The past couple of days my Nextel service has been acting up. Either I have had bouts of "non service" or like last night I will be in the middle of a conversation and suddenly everything goes silent. It says I'm still connected but I can't hear anyone and then I get a long BEEEEP and my phone says Sorry Please try again!

Now what in the world is that all about!???!!!

The first time this happened to Mike and I on the phone last night I called back and Mike says "Why you hang up one me? He says it in a sad little voice like he was about to cry.

Which made me laugh yet again. So I explained what had happened from my end.
We started talking again about five minutes or so and it happened again. By the time I stopped yelling into the phone "Mike are you there? Miker can you hear me? MICHAEL!!!!!!"

I hit redial and, of course, the phone was busy. I must have tried at least five times before it rang through. Hello...!!! He didn't even realize I wasn't there as as he was babbling on. (Real Nice)

This time when he answered the phone he says "Why you take my baby away from me? They are trying to keep us apart." and he said it sounding so seriously confused. Which made me laugh controlable I had tears in my eyes.

We were just acting very silly and it was fun. We haven't acted like that in a long time and we both needed it.

My Baby Boo...... he always seems to make me laugh and put a smile on my face!
