I'm Back!

The holidays have come and gone.

We are already into the 3rd week of the year and yet I haven't written in my blog since just priot to Christmas!

Let me apologize to all of you who have looked forward to my insane mind boggling jibber jabber or just pure and simple ... my bitch sessions.

Except for a few small pebbles in the road it has been smooth sailing the past few weeks so I haven't had alot to really write about.

Christmas was nice. I spent Christmas eve with Mike and his family. His brother came home and I finally got to meet him.

I loved watching Mike's face when he opened his gifts. It was like watching a five year old. I know I went a little over board but it's what I like to do. I get enjoyment out of watching how excited and surprised he gets.

New Years eve was a little off kilter. He had to work til 11pm and it was only about a month since he stopped drinking so it had to be hard for him.

In my mind I had already had the night set of how it would go. I really have to stop doing that because I always disappoint myself.

He wa a little on edge when I picked him up from work. Actually you could say he was a bit grumpy. AFter a while of tyring to get it out of him I found out it was partly because of the alcohol and lack of him not having it that was making him that way.

I never told him this but I was a tad bit hurt at that fact. I know it isn't easy but I just thought that maybe me being there would have made it so that he wouldn't have missed it and we could have had a nice romantic evening enjoying each other. I was once again wrong.

But we got through it.

2007 will be a good year!

I will do whatever it takes to make it that way if need be!
